Tournament players Academy is a European style tennis academy developed in Canada, fine-tuned in Florida and now at the Bristol Sportsplex. There are two pathways at the Plex for your son/daughter to develop their tennis skills and game styles. The “Recreational Pathway” are for those children wanting to learn the basics but also have other interests that demand their attention. The “Performance Pathway” are for those children whom they’ve decided tennis is their primary focus with a desire to someday play college tennis. Ripley Amell (Director) has spent years developing these pathways to best prepare young players based on their goals and time commitments.

Calling all Tri City junior tournament players…..”Performance Pathway”

…is your child having trouble closing out matches when leading

…is your child not dealing with the stress losing a point or a match in a healthy way

…is your child not applying what they’ve learned in practice to matchplay

…has your child not been introduced to the latest movement patterns coupled with the lates contact moves

…does your child struggle to hold serve

…does your child know the latest analytics in order to play each point based on high percentage shot selections

…has your present or previous coach written a  personal “Growth and Development Plan”?

If your son or daughter is struggling with of any or a combination of the above then TPA might be the best solution.

Calling all recreational players…….”Recreational Pathway”

Are you a recreational tennis player looking to have fun while learning a new sport? If so TPA has programs at the Plex to suit your age and ability. Programs are operated two days a week with the single goal of helping kids play the game of tennis as fast as possible by learning to keep score, where to stand, where to move to and recover to. Technique on learning to serve, return and eventually rally from the baseline will be developed. This exciting fun pathway awaits you!
